It’s May 1, 2017 – the first day of National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week!
The next five days are dedicated to recognizing the amazing education professionals that keep schools running by filling in open positions left by full-time teaching professionals taking time off.
Insight’s substitute teachers and paraprofessionals represent us in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and we’re proud of the standard of excellence they maintain.
Here at Insight, we believe substitute teachers and paraprofessionals deserve to be recognized for the critical role they serve. We are fortunate to have team members who prioritize students’ education and development and are proud of the relationships our team members forge with school administrators and full-time colleagues in the classroom.
According to the National Education Association, National Substitute Teacher Appreciation week was created because “these professional educators provide a critical link in the education of public school children by serving as a bridge to provide continued quality education to children in the temporary absence of regular classroom educators.”
We at Insight Workforce Solutions would like to thank our team of incredibly dedicated substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for all the work they do. Substituting can at times be very challenging, but ensuring the continuation of students’ education is paramount.
Celebrate this week by honoring great Insight professionals and paraprofessionals in our community and in our schools! Thank you, hardworking Insight professionals and paraprofessionals!
